Usually the point of SD is to make things look a little childlike and cute, if not make fun of them if the context is among normally proportioned things.

The reason why I was wondering was that (to me at least) having a stuff from Star Wars Super Deformed, just seems wrong. Kind of like how Star Wars has a manga.
