I've written topics like this too but usually the object of the topic is measured in lbs. and degrees of self loathing, not inches of precipitation.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I'm stuck with boring weather in southern CA.
Well at least earthquakes once in a while shakes up the monotony.

Re: This morning I woke up to this
Id much rather have snow than the flooding that seems to follow me. I was in Nashville, down the road from Opryland Sunday morning when water hit the door of the hotel room. We booked it out of there and got on the interstate mere minutes before it was under a foot of water. I got home to Atlanta and everything was fine, till the next morning when it started flooding all around my home and work.

I agree with fastbilly1, better than floods, Chattanooga was supposed to get hit hard but we dodged it somehow...poor Nashville

I (barely) know a guy who lives in Nashville and had to evacuate his house because of the flood. When he got to go home, there was a cow in his back yard that wasn't there before.JWatts wrote:I agree with fastbilly1, better than floods, Chattanooga was supposed to get hit hard but we dodged it somehow...poor Nashville

Re: This morning I woke up to this
Friend of mine lost a mile or so of fencing and a bridge. One of her friends lost her barn. By the Grace of God they are both ok as are their families and animals. Water got to my friend's door and then subsided. I know atleast two guys that lost everything.
Back in Atlanta, the only place I know that lost things was one of our satellite offices, lost a bunch of trashcans outside.
