I'm going to have to try to play that Boogie Wings game. It sounds like it could be fun! I'm having trouble committing myself to anything right now, so short arcade games seem like they could help me stay sane while I get my life back in order.

Also, 10 more games and you will be caught up to me! :)

New ones are highlighted blue
Games I have beaten multiple times this year are green

Contra 3 & 4
Starfox 64
Operation C
Metroid Fusion
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
Super Mario World
Arkham Asylum
Starfox
GTA IV: The Lost and Damned
Wario Ware inc
Little Big Planet
Super Mario Bros.
Act Raiser
Kirby and the Krystal Shards
Jurassic Park Rampage Edition
Pokemon Heart Gold
Aliens vs Predator
Donkey Kong '94
Kirby's Adventure
Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland

Total: 22

Playing both versions of Kirby's adventure was really great. The only thing that bugs me is the frame rate drop in adventure. Also I thought the boss sprites in nightmare were too big compared adventure but that's nit picky.

It took over twelve years and multiple losses of saves, but I finally beat Donkey Kong. The final boss fight was perfect. Anyone who likes platformers NEEDS to play this game.

I beat Super Street Fighter IV this weekend with Guy, but am by no means done with it just yet. I'm having too much fun with this game right now, and the Madcatz Tournament Edition joystick I just bought will keep me playing for much longer.

I felt compelled to try Boogie Wings when dsheinem posted about it recently, and boy am I glad I played it. It was so weird and quirky, and the gameplay was downright addicting. If you have access to this game, please try it out. It is totally worth playing through for the weird comedy alone. Also, Blues Brothers FTW!

I actually didn't even know Donkey Kong '94 existed, so thanks for posting about it! The Youtube videos that I watched make it seem pretty challenging.

Holy hell, this game was crazy! Dragon Blaze is a bullet hell game with fun gameplay. It gets insanely difficult near the end, but the game is short as hell (like 10 to 15 minutes). Although its not the best game I've ever played, it was fun while it lasted. Play it if you can! :)

So, I had a few flight delays/schedule changes/connecting flights during my business trip to Grand Rapids (I highly suggest staying at the amway grand plaza, it's something) and I ended up playing my GBA so often, I recharged it several times. So here goes:

Super Ghouls'N Ghosts. GBA

If it didn't have the option of loading a game, no way would I play this entire game on a GBA. GBPlayer, for certain though, as I'm about 99.9% sure they changed some things in the game. Not little port changes; Big differences. Different Bosses, at least I think. Something I'll check in on.

Final Fight One GBA With Cody for my first time. Always, always used to pick Haggar. Someone needs to photoshop Haggar wearing Haggar business casual clothes.

Anyway, it's a great port. You get what you expect, plus Guy.

Donkey King Country GBA Not completed, but defeated. Didn't play through the entire game, just picked up where I last left off.

DOOM GBA I have no idea why I played this from start to finish, especially on the GBA. I'm pretty sure I played it on the middle difficulty, but positive I didn't beat it on easy, which I think is "don't hurt me" or something close to that.

Oh, and to add. My first flight was to Atlanta, and the lady sitting next to me opened up a salad topped with feta cheese, then proceeded to pour about a half cup of red wine vinegar on top of it. Made the whole plane smell like ass.

I told her, "Your salad stinks" (I do however love salad, feta cheese and red wine vinegar, just not all together in a confined space). She replied "But it's delicious". I added, "Possibly, but no one on this plane can taste it". Then I took pictures of her while she ate and ignored me. I think I took about five pics, here's one:

I guess I've developed a tolerance for this sort of thing. I work in an office environment. Whenever someone has food, we all smell it and it's not always something that smells appetizing. Doesn't really bother me anymore.

Course I seem to have a good tolerance for things in general. I have some podmates always complaining about certain workers talking all day. I usually tune out any conversation unless it interests me so it's not a bother for me. And I have an mp3 player with headphones I can always use that if I have too

I just fine it funny sometimes the little things that people get so bothered by. People think I'm weird for being so hard to annoy lol. I always say, a few years in retail as well as taking angry phone calls at an insurance company has made me no longer sweat the small stuff.

I'm easy going, really I am.

But! If someone is just being an idiot, especially when they have a false sense of entitlement, I call them out. I wouldn't eat ten year old canned tuna on a plane where everyone would be nauseated by the smell. It's common sense.

Then again, common sense is just common.

Not sure why anyone would want to eat on a plane unless it is an international flight. I can not eat for at least 3-4 hours. If someone farts in row 1, you'll smell it in row 21. All germs are spread throughout the cabin as well when people cough, sneeze, etc. Why would you not want avoid all that stuff?

House of the Dead: Overkill - Wii *new*
It is with great shame that I must admit I played about three levels of this last year and got distracted by something else without ever finishing it. Big mistake, as this game got better as it went further. It is probably my favorite HOTD game, and a ton of fun to play on the Wii. I was a little disappointed in how easy the last boss was, but the final scene is one of the more memorable in any game I've played.

F.E.A.R. - The Perseus Mandate- 360 *new*
I've really come to appreciate the F.E.A.R. series, and can't get enough of that bullet-time FPS action. This game is much better than I'd been led to believe from reviews, and offers more great atmosphere and gameplay (if a less than stellar story). I've already beat FEAR 2 (last year) but still need to play the FEAR 2 DLC Expansion, and then I'll be all geared up for F.E.A.R. 3 Later this year.

TOTAL: 32

Next Up: some PC FPS (four that I own but have never played: STALKER, HL2 Ep 1 + 2 and Portal), Metro 2033 (360), Bioshock 2 (360) and a few more games from systems I haven't beaten a game for yet. I think I should try and beat at least one game from every system I own this year...
