I mean that the apple side of the equation isn't even close to being correct.

Put it this way, we kitted 2 entire studios out with top of the range mac pros with 2 graphics cards each in them with 2 24inch screens and 1 19" touch screen (on both systems) coupled with 2 Pro Tools HD 192 systems with 2 C24 mixing desks and 2 argossi desks/enclosures for little over £20,000 where I work. I should know, I spec'd it. Considering that mac prices in dollars pretty much convert to pounds £7,000 for what is quoted is complete bollocks.
