need some help with some things

hello there again, this weekend i posted that i was going to buy a hd-crt from a friend,
but yesterday he called me that there is something wrong with the television. nooooooooo

so im gonna buy me an lcd! its for playing ps2, xbox, gamecube,ps1 en saturn, wii, dreamcast
now i have read alot about some machines like XRGB that ar good for this.
have a couple of questions:

is there alot of difference with or without an upscalling device for lcd, or isnt it worth it?
im from europe

are there other upscalling machines?

and can someone show me some pictures when they running an upscalling device and are there good european upscalling devices ok already thanks for the help

We don't have to go thru the same tap dance responses again.

LCD will make you very unhappy for Retro machines. Besides response time on LCD screen draws are crap.
