Picked these games up at Goodwill today:

-Final Fantasy VII
-Resident Evil: Director's Cut w/ Dualshock
-Tomb Raider: Chronicles

All complete and in mint-ish condition, 3.99 + tax each.

Before this happened, a part of me was inclined to call "bullshit" whenever someone claimed to find FFVII at a Goodwill. But now that it's happened to me, I can be satisfied that FFVII does indeed appear in Goodwills, like that rare drop in whatever RPG you're currently playing. My life is complete.

I hate thrift stores in pittsburgh.
The only good thrift store find for me was H.E.R.O (2600), for 1 dollar. Big whoop.

The thrift stores around here suck too. 90% of the time, you'll see them trying to sell oXbox and Gamecube consoles for $80-$100.

It's all about luck, my friend. Kind of like rare drops.

i've been buying games like crazy lately again but mainly for rpgs. Ever since FF13, RoF, WKC came out, I felt like playing the older games. I started hunting down for Wild Arms games and I found 3,4, and 5 all on the same week and they were all in pristine condition. They are actually getting harder to find nowadays, so grab them before they disappear.

I hear you, man. PS2 stuff is only going to get scarcer from here on. Better get them now before you're stuck dealing with the after-market, especially with RPGs.

I don't think any games other than rpgs will get scarce on the ps2.

Yes, it's mostly RPGs that will get scarce as people hold on to their titles rather than put them on the market again.

However, try finding a copy of Kuon (survival horror), Blood Will Tell (action-adventure), or Robot Alchemic Drive (action-adventure) in the wild. Those are just a few rare, non-RPG games I can name off the top of my head.

These games don't command much of a price, but they're still hard to find in the wild.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.
