Alright, I want to import(or pick up some when I go to Japan) some games,
mainly ones that would be considered the best to import. Here are the systems I need some
reccomendations for:
Super Famicom
N64
Gamecube
Game Boy/Color
GBA

N64: Sin and Punishment
SNES: Too many to list!
Little Magic and Mario & Wario are two SFC only games that you don't need to know a lick of Japanese to be able to play fully.

Ziggy brings up a good point. How fluent are you in Japanese? And while we're at it, do you only want Japanese imports, or are you interested in PAL games?
Re: Need some reccomendations on Imports for various systems
Mario and Wario. . . forgot about that one. Did anyone ever modify a snes mouse into an optical mouse?
Re: Need some reccomendations on Imports for various systems
For the DS get Jump Super Stars or its sequel.
For the N64 get Sin & Punishment (or if you have a Wii it is on the virtual console for 1200 wii points)

Ah I am not good enough at Japanese to play a game enjoyably.
So text heavy games I probably won't get.
Also, Any import. PAL games are welcome

Ok, in that case there are a couple I would suggest:
Super Famicom:
Gundam Wing: Endless Duel
Terranigma (PAL)
Nintendo 64:
Rakuga Kids (PAL)

It's an awesome game, but not a lot of fun if your SNES mouse is on the frits. It was great when I was playing it on an emulator (using my computer's mouse).Jrecee wrote:Mario and Wario. . . forgot about that one. Did anyone ever modify a snes mouse into an optical mouse?
I was looking for SNES mouse mods about a year ago and didn't find much. The only thing I found was replacing the worn out triggers. Fortunately, my mouse still tracks fine, but it's left trigger is really worn out. I've been meaning to replace it. But yeah, and optical SNES mouse would be great. But if I remember correctly, it wasn't possible for some reason.
edit: Ahh, the quote got the right name this time!
