LaserActive TurboGrafx PAC-N10 Module's worth?

Is this thing really worth this much? I'll admit I don't know too much about the laseractive or it's PAC's and what they're worth. Last night I checked the auction and it was sitting around a $300 bid. I was hoping to come home from work today and place a winning bid of no more than 400 because I know it's quite rare and expensive. But I had no idea it went for over $600!! Is this thing really worth that much? I mean, either than it being a cool collection piece it doesn't really do anything that a normal turbografx + turbocd or turboduo can do.

the expansion modules vary greatly depending on which model it is.

you are looking at one of the more rare modules for sure.

I think it's pretty crazy to spend over $900 on what is essentially just a different version of a system you can but for less than $50. As far ad I know, their were 3 PACs for the LaserActive. A genesis module, a TG-16 module and a karaoke module. When they were originally released the genesis and TG-16 modules were $599 and the karaoke one was only like $199. Not many were produced so they have held their value pretty well. They certainly should not be worth this much. My friend bought a LaserActive with genesis module and karaoke module off craigslist for $65. How about that for cost vs worth.

Wow that's an incredible deal for 65. It's worth well more than that. I'd say that bundle would be worth about $400. And yeah I definitely agree about the TG-16 PAC, it ended up going for more than $900, which in my opinion is just insane. Every forum I read before this auction stated that it should fetch for anywhere betwen 300 and 500 dollars. I hope this auction doesn't cause the price of it to skyrocket as i'm still in the market for one and would certainly never pay more than 500 for it.
