Re: What game do you own the most versions/copies of?
I just used a bunch of gift cards I was given at work to buy Batman Arkham Asylum for the PS3. I already have the 360 version. By dumb luck, I ended up with two copies of Valkyria Chronicles, one sealed. I HAD two copies of The Red Star once. One sealed just cause I love the game and wanted a pristine copy. I ended up trading in the other copy though after playing it to death and now I just have the sealed one on my shelf. I have Resident evil 4 for the Gamecube and I bought the collector's edition when it came out on the PS2. I wanted to check out the extra Ada stuff and I just fucking love Resident Evil 4. I have a loose cart of Wild Guns for the S-NES and a complete copy INCLUDING box, instructions and all the original inserts and stuff that came with it. I have two Mega Man X 3 cartridges, but they both have some label damage. I have the box for MMX 3 in great condition. If I could just get a MMX 3 cartridge with no label damage and a good condition instruction booklet(I threw away the one I had it was so damaged)
I have two copies of Final Fantasy 9 because I had a problem with one of them. This was back before I understood the wonders of disk resurfacing. I have two copies of Metal Gear Solid 4 as I just wasn't happy with the condition of the used one I had so I bought a brand new copy once I found a good deal on one
And slightly off topic, but I have every DVD version of the movie Serenity and ALMOST bought it on blue ray today(saw a great deal on it for fifteen dollars). I have multiple copies of some Buffy and Angel comic book issues(from the official canon stories Angel:After the Fall and Buffy season 8 respectively)due to cover variants I wanted. And I have two copies of some Buffy/Angel seasons on DVD. One original release copy with the really fancy looking, but flimly and impractical fold out cases and one of the newer, much more practical slim dvd case ones

EJ is sweet. You should also get the Sega CD version! It is a bit expensive, but I hear it's the best version! Earthworm Jim: Special Edition!BlackDS wrote:I have Earthworm Jim for GG and GBA.

[quote="J T"]I have two copies of Indigo Prophecy for PS2 and one for PC.
I loved Indigo Prophecy but was never able to complete it as I was borrowing it from a friend and had to give it back. I will buy it and beat it someday!

Re: What game do you own the most versions/copies of?
Sonic 1 on MegaDrive. For some bizzare reason I have 5 cartridges. (Only 2 copies of Sonic 1 on SMS though). Add to that the various compilations (Sega compilations on PS2 and PS3), and that gets me up to 7.
If you look at families of games, the Street Fighter is right up there. I've lost count now of the various re-releases I've bought. It started with all three releases on SNES, a MegaDrive release, several PSX games (the Alpha and Versus series, as well as the older collections), all the newer stuff (CvS2, MvC2, SF3, CFJ on PS2).
I'd say there's easily over a dozen Street Fighter titles in my collection by now.
I've been planning on cataloguing the collection for a while, but it seems to be such a daunting task.

The sooner you do it, the easier it will be to just add new things as you acquire them. Just do a system at a time so it's not a huge pile.elvis wrote: I've been planning on cataloguing the collection for a while, but it seems to be such a daunting task.
