digital press and nintendo age rarity guides

Post by final fight cd »

how do these sites come up with these guides?

is it based on sales or something else? if based on sales, how is digital press able to come up with figures for ALL of those games for ALL those systems? i know digital press has a book, which probably gives much more detail than the site and maybe even explain the rating system, but i have never owned it.

also, i figured that both sites would have similar guides and ratings. but digital press gives castle wolfenstein for the snes a 1 and nintendo age gives it a 7. HUGE difference.
if you took a shit, please put it back

could it be that digital press uses an inverted scale compared to nintendo age? As in, for them, 7=common, while for nintendo age, 1=common?
