Actually, it's Club Nintendo. And he must have been in it a while, since he has more than on reward (and one of them is an 800 point reward.)
Haven't bought a nintendo game in years and I just ordered the game and watch games 1&2 and the mario poster set I already had the zelda ones :)

I use to work at a store that sold games and I stole the registration codes ;)

I can see how that would work. Most people don't use them, so you could just use them yourself. To be honest, though, you should throw away the paper with the codes games come with, so that people won't be getting tons of worthless codes.
