Chu chu rocket question

I ordered another copy offline after not having it since it released and my memory might be a little worn so bare with me on this.

I take it out of the packaging and I have a look at it and it looks legit. Then I flip it over on the back everything about the packaging looks great except for one thing. The screen shots there all distorted and look like crap. Now I was 10 when I bought my original copy and probably didn't notice cause I didn't care but I just cant see sega putting something out with such terrible packaging! It doesn't represent the game well in anyway what so ever. Is this the same with any of the copies you guys have or did I get a fake copy? The book and disk look legit but the case feels different from my other DC games so I think its been replaced. Maybe there was an issue with the back art so the seller tried to replace it ?

Funny - I thought the same thing when I got mine a few months back. But it just looks like ass and thats what they went with.

Yeah that looks a little bit clearer but not much mine looks like orange and white/blue blobs

sorry to necro-bump, but I did recently stumble upon something that mentions that there was a misprint of Chu Chu Rocket, so I was reminded of this thread. Kind of like how there was a misprint of Tennis 2K that CD_AGES clued me into, there are also two printings of the artwork for Chu Chu. It's not really anything special, but if you happen to be an obsessive collector it's at least slightly interesting.
