Also, the final boss would have to be an Onslaught-like entity that is created by the merging of Magneto and Shredder - maybe a side-effect of some treasure originating from Dimension X or something. It's a Beat 'Em Up, who cares about the story - just make it happen!

Frankly, I just miss Konami doing licensed games. Capcom too. Back in the old days where big companies actually gave a crap about licensed games. Konami pumped out a badass Batman game long before we had Batman:Arkham Asylum(The Adventures of Batman and Robin on the Super Nintendo)and did great games based on Animaniacs, Ninja Turtles, Simpsons, that Moo Mesa cartoon. Meanwhile Capcom had awesome Disney games. Sega did too. Aside from using Marvel characters, Capcom just doesn't bother with licensed material anymore it seems and neither does Konami. And it seems all Disney properties belong to Square now

But seriously, if we're talking crossover, it's got to be the Turtles and Battletoads. It would be like when the Turtles teamed up with those frog guys in the cartoon and we all know Battletoads was just a Turtles rip off anyway(a damn good one though). And toss in Double Dragon too just for the hell of it. The ultimate beat'em up

Did you just forget Batman Returns?

on the S-NES? Yeah, it was good. I didn't love it, but it was good. I owned a copy and played it a few times.

I found it odd that they made Batman seem like such a powerhouse in that game. I mean holding two guys in the air at once and bashing their heads together, grabbing a guy by his throat and smashing him to the ground, that seemed so very not Batman. He's a finesse fighter, not a brute force guy.

Beyond that though, and the fact that the game was a bit cheap sometimes, I enjoyed it. However, I would rate it a good Batman game while The Adventures of Batman and Robin on the S-NES was just excellent in my opinion

What I loved about the Adventures of Batman and Robin was that it was very faithful to the animated series in every way and to the Batman character in general. Compare that to the Genesis version done by Sega I believe, which had nothing to do with Batman other than the character sprites. At least that version let you play as Robin though. That was cool
