Re: Your rarest game, and how much you bought it for.
i could list mario bros for 1 million dollars on ebay. it doesn't mean that is what it is worth.
you are better off checking the completed auctions. the complete auctions are around 80 dollars for a sealed copy, which is still a nice find.

Nice find on the Ninja Five O. I lucked out and got a loose copy for the high $20s shipped.

off topic...
i have never been to a play n trade but i ALWAYS hear people getting great deals from them. i just don't understand how a chain of stores that sell used games can just let stuff go by that easily. do they purposely mark prices that low so they sell?
i don't watch much "recent game pickup" videos on youtube, but on the rare chance i do, i always hear play n trade thrown in there. in fact, a person said he bought a sealed copy of FFVII for only like 40 dollars. maybe it was a little more. it was a while back but regardless, it was cheap. damn cheap.

The people that work at Play N Trade scam the customers into making you buy their warranties. Their deal to fix your scratch game for $6-8 each one.

Play n Trade is alright on older games, but at least around where I live every new game is around $5 over Gamestop used prices.

It's not really THAT rare. But I scored a boxed/complete copy of R-Type III (SNES) for $5 at a local pawn shop.
I think it typically goes for around $40-$50 online?
