Teenage mutant ninja turtles !

Post by c0r33 »

What are there best games? I've been on a kick with them so far i've just been playing TMNT re-shelled and the demo of the other TMNT game on the market place cant recall the name. Im looking into getting a copy of hyperstone heist for my genesis. Is there any other really good ones that have come out that I may have missed out on? What are your favorites and why?

Don't forget TMNT II: The Arcade Game and TMNT III for the NES; they are also side-scrolling brawlers :)

Is it good? It looked like SF2 with turtles but I figured that was impossible especially coming from konami. Id buy it for the genesis if I did pick it up SEGA 6 button controllers are a million times better then SNES pads in my opinion.

TMNT IV: Turtles in Time

The SNES version is the best by far.

Turtles II and Turtles III on the NES aren't too shabby either...avoid the first one unless you are a masochist, however. It is even harder than BattleToads. (In that game, at least you know where you are going and what you are supposed to do.) I only made it past the third level once, and my last turtle promptly died when I started level four.

Also, SNES Tournament Fighters is awesome. Genesis Tournament Fighters is terrible, and I have never played NES Tournament Fighters.

the SNES version is much better than the Genesis version. Trust me, it's not the same game.

edit:

Gensis version:

also if this helps, EGM awarded the SNES version "GOLD" while the Genesis recieve a lower score from Sushi X.

I've played both hyperstone heist and turtles in time. in my humble opinion, i enjoyed hyperstone better and felt like it was more authentic TMNT style. though both games are very good and deserve their respective praises.
