Or if you just remove the top of the case, the handle comes right off!

well... i took the top off, then unscrewed the handle... theeeeen, sawed the handle off the ends and filed and sanded and rubbed polishing compound on 'em so that in the end, there wouldn't be any holes in the back of the 'cube. looks pretty good. i might pretty'em up a little more, but i'm gonna paint the whole thing white to match my wii and gba. after i get a new controller port panel...

I don't think there is one. I can't see it either.

Me and my friends had a running joke that nintendo had a time release mechanism on that handle so it would detach and hit the ground causing it to break and forcing you to buy a new one. Then my other friend while holding the handle dropped it down a flight of stairs. It was at that moment we realized the GC was indestructible!

I kind of like the handle, it's nifty. You need extra space back there for the connectors, so why not?

Everything Nintendo makes is indestructable. I've heard countless stories of systems going out windows and surviving, and we've all seen the Game Boy that got hit with a bomb and still works.

Please tell my 2 broken NDSLs that.

I agree about everything ELSE that they make though.
