Well, having Dr. Strange in the game would be the same reason why Galactus is not in the game. Pretty much when the round begins it will be over in less than a second.

I always thought that Galactus or Apocalypse would make a great final boss.TheyCallMeTheSwede wrote:Well, having Dr. Strange in the game would be the same reason why Galactus is not in the game. Pretty much when the round begins it will be over in less than a second.

Apocalypse was one of the final bosses of Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter.GSZX1337 wrote: I always thought that Galactus or Apocalypse would make a great final boss.

lol, yeah, they kinda cheesed him out. It is a speed-run, after all.
Here's a video of someone playing as Apoc in X-Men vs Street Fighter. I didn't even know you could do it, honestly.
Of course, he just does the same move over and over.

Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3. It's real.
Apocalypse was by far the easiest boss of the Vs games. Most of his moves can be trivially jumped over or blocked and pushed back for a huge counter window.
MvC's Onslaught and MvC2's Abyss provided somewhat more of a battle.
TvC's Yami is back to being a total pushover.
I hope MvC3 throws something crazy at us that punishes button mashers everywhere.

I personally thought Abyss was a pushover and hated fighting Yami.

I wasn't aware this was possible. I did manage to unlock Onslaught mode on MvC on the Dreamcast though, which was hell(not just because of the requirements but because I had a stock Dreamcast controller). Was totally worth it thoughthe7k wrote:lol, yeah, they kinda cheesed him out. It is a speed-run, after all.
