I can't remember if I had to do this with the big LCD screen or the little CRT; but try changing the channel between channel 3 and channel 4. I forgot which console(s) this was for but I didn't get any video till I messed with this.

Well I got now actually, after some fiddling with the cables, and trying out different RCA ports, the game came up. Thanks for the help!

I have no idea how technical you are, so here are some very basic things to check. Good luck!

1. Check the wiring.

Look for the RCA inputs on your television. One will be Red, one will be White, and one will be Yellow. If they are not this color, or there are more than three of them, report back here. Yellow is video, while Red and White are audio.

Next, look at the NES. There are only two RCA ports on it. One is Yellow (video), and one is Red (audio).

Your cable either has two or three connectors on each end. Regardless of how many connectors are on each end, you should only use two.

At your NES, connect the yellow connector to the yellow port. Connect the red connector to the red port.

At your television, connect the yellow connector to the yellow port, and the red connector to the red port. If you have three connectors on each end of your cable, just let the third one dangle freely.

(NOTE: If your cable only has red and white connectors, just connect the white connects to the yellow ports. It won't hurt anything)

2. Make sure your television and NES are turned on. Then, look on the television itself or on its remote control for a button labeled "Source" or "AV" or "Input". Depending on your television, it might present a menu, or it may just cycle through a few options. Go through each possible option. For one of them, you should see picture from your NES on screen.

AV input works a little differently than the RF adapter. For RF, you want your television to be on a certain channel to pick up the NES. For AV input, you have to change the television's input mode.

Good luck!
