My brother just gave me his Sega Master System, 2 1st Party Controllers, a Light Phaser, power supply, RF Switch, and 11 games (Altered Beast, Rampage, Thunder Blade, PaperBoy, Alf, The Ninja, Hang On/Astro Warrior, Operation Wolf, Hang On/ Safari Hunt, Rambo First Blood Part 2, Ghost House)... FOR FREE!!!
Just after I got room dedicated to gaming (pictures after I paint and get shelves up)
I'm in a very good mood right now.
EDIT: All games have the boxes and about half have the manuals. In "The Ninja" there is a poster in perfect condition.

awesome. I loved my Master System. In many ways, probably more than my Genesis.

...A broken Master System? Isn't that like, a contradiction of terms?

You tell me. They also all share the same problem of the cartridge slot being broken. i've cleaned my cartridges and systems so many times I see my refelection in the PCB, but it still gives me the same "software error" every time I start any of them up. I find that if I hold the cartridge forward when I play the game, then there's fewer problems, but that's certainly an uncomfortable solution, for me and the console. There's nothing wrong with the cartridge slot pins when I look at them, so I have no idea what the problem could be.

I've got an SMS where the cartridge port is *wrecked*. No idea how it could get that bad without someone taking a screwdriver to the port.
Well, good for parts at least.

Sweet story, sounds like you owe your brother big time

Cool. I'm waiting on my first Master System to arrive. I've only seen or played one once, way back when. The box art for the carts was so bad, but they always caught my eye.
