TurboGrafix help
For the console itself: Any clue what adapter and RF cables can work for it?
For the TG Express: I can turn it on but no image. Any clues?

Re: TurboGrafix help
See this thread for power brick information: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 17&t=18302
But as a quick answer on the TG-16, use a Genesis Model 1 power brick as a substitute you might already have. For the RF, a NES/SMS/Gen auto RF switch will work.

Re: TurboGrafix help
All righty. Getting a Gen 1 brick will probably be easier than finding an official NEC one though. Or you could go buy a brick from Radio Shack or wherever, but you'd have to make sure it gives enough amperage per my big post in that thread. Most multi-plugs have low mA output that's not enough for game consoles. Obviously the TG is a bit flexible on the voltage, but I wouldn't go outside the 9 to 10.5 volts range.

TG Express - likely the capacitors need changing, it is an issue with them.

Re: TurboGrafix help
Oh yes duh. Likely a similar issue to GGs with caps going bad.bacteria wrote:TG Express - likely the capacitors need changing, it is an issue with them.

Re: TurboGrafix help
I don't, but if you have soldering experience looking up a guide on the capacitor replacement for a Game Gear will help you get an idea if its something you can do. The Express might be more dense inside and need more care in the soldering than the GG though since it is more complex.
