Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

7-11 to begin selling used games $20 and under

Post by DerekG52 »

7-11 is starting a program to sell used games for $20 and under.

I like, sounds like a good chance to nab some passed over loot.

I wonder if they'll end up with the surplus of GBA games that you used to see at KMart, Walmart, Best Buy, etc.

Probably not worth it.

They have used games for sale at the truck stop at which I work part time (flying J) and they all suck.

Like as in seventy bajillion copies Madden 2006 suck.

So the article makes it seem like you can't trade games in there, they are provided by GTT? which makes me think this will be 100% crap, unless GTT stands for Gaming's Tremendous Treasures

If you read some of the posted comments, it seems they aren't entirely crap, some people have had some luck. It will probably end up being similar odds to finding a good deal at a flea market or goodwill.

Hopefully they won't only be selling Madden games or some crap like that.

Also, the pic in that article made me nostalgia hard. 7-11's are meant to be visited at night. No two ways around it.

You used to see videogames sold in all sorts of unusual places like clothing stores, truck stops, etc.. Sears even used to have their name on the old Pong machines. It's good to see games are perhaps proliferating again.

The 7-11 near me has panzer dragoon saga for $3.00. I got a slurpy instead though.
