PAL on Sega Master System

I heard somewhere that the Sega Master System can play both PAL and NTSC but I haven't got to test it for sure. If I order a PAL game will it work on a US Master System?

Yes it will. I have an Australian PAL game, works just fine on my US SMS. It will run faster with the 50/60 hz difference, but it will work.
