I find it funny/awesome that as soon as the Atari gets another vote, the TG-16 gets another two. ^__^ I guess I know what people around here seem to prefer.

Hmmmm I was scouring eBay for an Atari, and go figure even with auctions it seems most are about 40 bucks. I found a buy it now one for 35, but it came with no games or AC adapter. Which are about 8 bucks. Bumping it to 43 bucks. Which is how much the store charges. And craigslist was no real help either. I suppose I could get a TG-16 and a Atari, but then I would only have about 30 or less dollars to spend on games and stuff. And that's a little low I think. : /

The only thing I can advise is patience. Pick one and enjoy it now, and save the other for later. Better deals will come along.

You could try posting a WTB on Craigslist. I did that when I was looking for a C128, and got a computer & drive for about $20 less than what I'd have paid on Ebay.

I was thinking about getting both the Colecovision and TG-16, and only a few games, but then I forgot about Chicago tax >.< So unless they have like NO TG-16 games, I will probably only get the TG-16.
