If you guys read my last post I have decided to keep my ps2 arcade/2d fighter collection. Thanks again for the comments. Now that I have the ports from the 2d fighters/ midway/ arcade collections, I want to think about picking up some arcade ports that went to the ps1. I know some games are going to look awful but I have a psone with the screen and I can play these games on that system.
Now I have nfl blitz and blitz 2000 and I am going to get wrestlemania the arcade game but what other ports are there out there besides tekken 3? I already own tekken tag but I stilll want the tekken series. Any other ideas guy's I cant think of any help. Thanks
What new arcade ports should I get now?
Re: What new arcade ports should I get now?
The best version of all the Arcade collections Williams, Midway and Atari Arcade Greatest Hits. Unlike later consoles, the PS1 has all the extra customizable Dip switch and controller options.

Hey Robotron. Does it support the analog sticks?

No, the PS1 versions came out before Dual Shock, but fully customizable digital even combine two controllers such as the Blaze Digital Twin Shock for Robotron. I modified mine for later PS2 non customizable incarnations. The PS1 Flight Stick, DUAL Analog (signature link) and Barracuda controllers support digital pads in the sticks fine though.Hatta wrote:Hey Robotron. Does it support the analog sticks?
Just checked my collection, unfortunately Williams Collection is the only one out the old PS1 Arcade Collection set that doesn't support Dip Switch adjustments, all the "Midway Presents" collections do. Just like Mame you can set the lives, difficulty, etc.
The PS2 Arcade collection does support Dual Shock, but no dip switches or customizable controls. Also has Smash TV.

The best port was probably the one on Midway Arcade Treasures 1 for the PS2. That's the one I playbenderx wrote:How about Smash TV arcade game ports to sony playstation consoles.
