Saturn Laser Pot locations??

Dug out my old Saturn from the attic and got my chip this morning from racketboy (thanx) but it seems that the laser unit on my Pal Model 2 is a bit faulty

[Originals can load now and then, splash screen shops after 1-2 seconds, the gui can hang when reading a disc]

I'm sure the one of the pots has been altered sometime in its life (not sure how as such a long time ago), does anyone have any pictures, actual locations of how the 3 pots should be by default

Orange one under the drive at the back
Light grey one on top at back to the side
Silver metal one in the middle to the side

Tried looking for any replacements but no sign yet

why was the laser altered?
Have you tried cleaning the lens at all?

Also, how fast are you burning your CDs? Are you using quality branded CD-R media?

laser altered? - not sure at all, so long ago
cleaned laser? - yes
aint even tried cd-r media yet as it does it on originals, never hangs or crashes with no disc in, only when one is in does it act badly
