Need help with a tribute to GamesRadar's "Week of Hate"...

Need help with a tribute to GamesRadar's "Week of Hate"...

Post by JokermanJohnny »

I myself am a fan of GamesRadar's "Week of Hate" special, in which they mercilessly pick apart the things in videogames that annoy them to no end. What I really like about it, though, is how they'll put up games that they either like or are critically and/or commercially successful and subject it to the wrath of their bare faults.

The reason I bring this up is because I want to do something similar to that on Racketboy.com... For seven days, I'll post topics relating to picking apart the things we hate about the video games we play. But I can't do it alone.

I want you guys to post games or things about games you hate for inclusion in this "Week of Hate" tribute. It can be anything, ranging from how voice acting in video games never seems to match the characters or how a certain video game that shall remain nameless tried matching RPGs with Charlie's Angels and came out as an absoulutely stupid joke.

I can't do this alone, guys. If you can, please contribute to the project so that it can turn into a rousing success.

I hate when the voice acting in a game is quiet for some reason, making the voices seem like they're not really coming from the mouths of the characters. And I hate when a game has a sappy moral, like "believe in yourself". This seems to be a problem especially in Japanese games.

I hate it when a video game has an ending screen that doesn't loop back to the title screen.

Yes, that aspect of LoZ: OoT annoyed me. I wanted my save game to say that I had won, not still say that I was right before the final boss.
