I've been hyping this up to people like crazy at work all week and swear to God I'll try to make Aksys license the rest of CAVE's catalog by selling as many as I can.

I'm still on the fence for this game. It looks great but I haven't committed to pre-ordering it just yet for whatever reason.

The only version available period is the Limited Edition and it includes all the content from the arcade re-releases and Mega Black Label along with the OST and a faceplate. It's the same as the JP limited edition that normally runs in the $150-$200 range, plus it has a 360 faceplate that's exclusive to NA!

I got a 500 GB external hard drive for $30 from Target.

Where do you live?
Are they having a sale?
Which brand?

I live in Haverhill Massachusetts. I can not remember if I picked it up from the Target here or in Salem NH. It was marked down for clearance on one of the electronics end caps if I remember correctly. I do not even know what I am going to do with mine, I just thought it was a good price, heh. Oh and it is a Western Digital Elements.

I figure Deathsmiles will hold its value so you can always sell it if you decide you do not want it. I had bought Ketsui DS and sold it for the same I bought it for a month later I believe.

I much prefer Raiden / Gradius style of shmups to bullet hell but whatever.

Hopefully it sells well enough that Aksys considers bringing all of Cave's other titles over here.

got a sealed Modern Warfare 2 for 360 today at goodwill. it was marked 24.99 but the lady rung it up 2.99. score for me.

before anyone tells me i should have "done the right thing," keep in mind this is a situation where no one will be harmed. goodwill doesn't keep an inventory, their items cost them NOTHING, and i paid the price that was keyed in by the cashier.


also got one of these for 5.99. came with all the books, box, and both discs. pretty cool so far.
