Can you believe it?Holy shit, that's terrible.
In the end, he spent just about $1500, all things considered. Here the surgery alone would have cost $6500.
Its beyond ridiculous.
You know what the problem is Megatron? Misinformation. Neither of the controlling parties is particularly honest (that's a nice way of putting it) about what they do. The most vocal of the "angry citizens" seem to be flipping coins about which side they're on. A lot of the people currently bitching about Obama were originally thinking he'd fix all the problems they were bitching about under Bush. There were other accusations too, about stuff like people over the age of 70 not getting heart surgeries or cancer treatments. It all seemed a bit desperate, to be honest. I'd doubt anyone in the UK would grasp the reasons why people wouldn't want such a service, or want to oppose such legislation aimed at improving health care.
It doesn't help that there are so many radical tv and radio personalities with so much power to sway people. You end up with thousands of people screaming about something they don't really understand.
I'm ashamed to say it, but I've realized that I don't really understand everything about social medicine, and considering what we're dealing with right now, I really should. I do know that I'm very unhappy with our government for a variety of reasons, but that's never going to go away.
My apologies for going off on this.
