Bah.
JT could wear ballerina clothes to bed and it wouldn't change my opinion of him. Great guy.
Plus, I would definitely be a part of a flash mob. Sounds like a great way to meet new friends.

If that were the case, I'd be very interested.vash23n wrote:For some reason I thought a flash mob was a bunch of people suddenly ripping off their clothes and randomly streaking down the streets. When you mentioned you and your wife, I thought, "Wow, they are very comfortable with their relationship and I admire that."
Not necessarily to be part of it, but I'd certainly want to watch.

Or I can just be who I am. I have no problem with embracing things that others think are contradictory.pureevil wrote:JT theres some things you shouldn't tell people, like you watch glee and do the dances unless you like having the piss ripped out of you,or want everone to think you are gay.
In addition to watching Glee and dancing around in the streets to the music, I also watch shows like Dexter, listen to industrial music, and stomp through the streets in protest of the "Patriot" Act. I'm a vegetarian, but I also worked 4 years in a butcher shop. I play music videogames like Frequency and Guitar Hero, but I also play real instruments-- several of them-- and I create, perform, and record my own music which is sometimes drum n bass, sometimes jazz, sometimes hip hop, sometimes classical. In addition to believing I don't have to like something just because it's popular, I also believe that I don't have to dislike something just because it's popular. I have a masters degree and work a professional job while I'm working on PhD, yet I also usually wear street clothes most of the time and I have an unusual haircut that is shaved everywhere but the top, which I pull into a long tail. And if people want to think I'm gay, so what. I've not only been to the Pride festival, I've marched in it. That doesn't change the fact that I am straight and happily married to a beautiful woman. And if anyone wants to attempt ripping the piss out of me that's their problem. I'm also 6' 2" I weigh over 200 pounds, and I workout daily.
I am what I am, and if you don't like it, I don't give a damn.

Sometimes, they basically are that... such as the popular "No Pants Subway Ride"vash23n wrote:For some reason I thought a flash mob was a bunch of people suddenly ripping off their clothes and randomly streaking down the streets. I feel you on the contradictory stuff. I love the ballet, but I also played college hockey, and currently get punched and punch people in the face as a hobby. Love 90's hip hop and gangster rap, but also frequent the Raleigh Symphony.
Hope people don't dog pile on pureevil though. I think he just attempted to make a joke that he didn't think through.

Besides. I'm vegetarian. I'm not supposed to have beef.
