Now, because of the contributions of Luke, "There's already a thread for that!" has become a game -- one without hard feelings. It's no longer a "God, well fuck! Why bother!? Fucking asshole, what difference does it make?" response, but a "Conflabbit, Luke got me again!"

It's a minor contribution for someone who's otherwise a perfectly entertaining member, but it's really taken the pissiness out of the sometimes touchy matter of redundant threads and will probably continue to do alot to keep our boards both civil and efficient at the same time. So here's to you Luke, you efficient asshole!
I don't know what to say.

Umm.

Er.

There's already a thread for this or something?

I have a strong feeling this thread will be locked.
Ironically, I think there actually was. I can't find it, though.
Luke's evil twin brother already posted it :D

I'm sorry, pephary. I'd just noticed that people had started saying, "How did Luke miss this one?" -- you're great about it too, you're just not quite as prolific as Luke. It's cool, you've got better things to do with your time than sit on your ass and throw pearls before swine. Except when you don't. :P

One of the reasons I love this forum is for the vigilance of its elders. Heres to you Luke, and if you visit Minneapolis for any reason let me know, I make a mean meatless lasagna!

actually, I did create a thread like that, but it was quickly locked and I was told that it was "pointless" and that I was "obviously trying to start a flame-war"
