Change the Gaming Community

Post by Flake »

If there was ONE thing you could change about the modern day gaming community, what would it be? I remember when someone liking video games was like a requisite for being my friend. Now when I meet people who game, I usually groan until they prove they aren't the typical jock-Modern Warfare Halo douchebag.

So if I could change one thing about the gaming community...I'd make it so people stopped expecting photo realistic HD graphics with every title that comes out. I think that expectation has seriously hurt the industry.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

What you said TC.
I typically ignore anyone who thinks graphics are everything.

Moar platformers. That, and support for legacy disc consoles (BC Dreamcast, Sega CD, Saturn on PS3?), as well as more colors, and more 2D games (think KOF 13).

Limit 16 year old kids and under to 1 hour of play per day. Kids ruin the online experience and drive the market.

That's a very generalized statement. I'm 16, I hate kids that spew out curses every other word online.

In general kids your age are exactly as you described. Pretty fair in my opinion. If your on here and your young, you are a rarity and to that I salute you!

So am I. I'm 16 years old, and whenever I do play online games, I play without a mic.
