I'm thinking about buying an EZFlash 3-in-1, but I have a few questions on the device.
1. Does it have a MicroSD card slot/any external storage?
2. If so, what is the highest supported storage amount of it?
3. How is the GBA compatibility? I've heard some bad things about this, so I thought I should ask.

Re: EZFlash 3-in-1 Questions
1) No, you must load your roms onto the cart with a DS slot card that reads SD. (acekard, dstt, etc)
2) N/A
3) With GBAExploader quite good. No complaints at all there. With my DSTT and YSMenu I've had trouble saving games without applying a patch first. Golden Sun and Metal Slug come to mind immediately.

Never owned one, but there's a fairly thorough wiki entry on gbatemp:

And PocketHeaven's wiki entry:

That's not the 3-in-1

Re: EZFlash 3-in-1 Questions
Certain games have issues with saving like Golden Sun and LTTP without being patched first and you need a slot-1 flash card otherwise the card does nothing. My DSTT with YSMenu supports it natively, however, they've changed the new 3-in-1s so you're going to have to use GBAExploader otherwise you can't play GBA games (you might be able to use EZflash V but i'm not 100% sure).

Check the articles. The EZF 3-in-1 is sold with the EZF V. It's function is to provide GBA, extra RAM and Rumble features to a DS with a slot-1 flashcart.Hatta wrote:That's not the 3-in-1

Re: EZFlash 3-in-1 Questions
Oh, well. I thought it would be awesome to have 2x16 GB Micro SD cards in my DS at once via this method.
EDIT: Wait a minute, this is my 1,000th post! I just realized that!

Re: EZFlash 3-in-1 Questions
I used to hear about possible battery issues.. ie the card's no longer good if its battery ran out? Also, what about homebrew for the GBA? Is SNES emulation better on the GBA? But the issue of the smaller screen keeps me from getting one.
