Ya gotta visit all the FRYS. Thats where they started, in the bay area.

If you are a Swap Meet junky, one of the biggest of the West Coast is located in the southern end of the Bay Area, The San Jose Flea market. So big, there are street signs for crying out loud. Left of entrance towards the back is a group of vendors selling Retro. Doesn't hurt to explore the other aisles too for hidden treasures. be prepared to kill a whole day.
This great Flea Market may be gone this year due to a huge housing development taking over.

For really great Chinese food avoid the tourists in China Town, there is a smaller one in Oakland few blocks from Jack London Square. I can almost smell all the outdoor food stalls.
This great Flea Market may be gone this year due to a huge housing development taking over.

Star Games in San Francisco is a cool retro shop. I would also recommend 4Jays and Phoenix Games in Bay Area.

It looks like Star Games might have shut down. Their phone # is disconnected and a Gamestop clerk told me it might be closed down. Im a little too far from SJ but I'm gonna keep looking for other spots.
