I moved out of Florida last year and I don't miss it

I got hit pretty hard by Ivan last year...

YEYYYYYY! Hurricanes!

My cousin and I love hurricanes. My work pays for any days missed due to the hurricane and they pay you triple time if you come in and work when the power is out (and sometimes a bonus as well).

My cousin loves it because he is a self employed roofer. We're originally from New England, so he doesn't have the crooked south FL contractor ways (left over STILL from Andrew) and charges a more reasonable price. So he gets TONS of work and is very content with the money he makes from it.

The only concern I have is this year is going to be the first year I go through a hurricane owning my own house. I bet that really changes stuff... but like I said, my cousin (and roommate) is a roofer and contractor; CHEAP LABOR!!!!
