I use a EZ-Flash Vi and so far I haven't had any problems with it.

While possible, the devices that would allow such a set up are hideously out of date. 2-slot solutions haven't been made for DS since a several of months after the launch of the DS, they were abandoned in favour of 1-slot solutions.

like avrame said, the best GBA cart that you could find available right now is probably the EZ-Flash IV.I also highly recommend realhotstuff for USA buying

Your best option for the dsi like others said would be the acekard 2i. But if you can wait a little bit the Supercard DSTWO is getting released soon which, unlike the current carts, will be able to play gba games from the ds slot without the need for a slot 2 expansion pak to run GBA games

Let me try and put this clearly: DO NOT GET AN ACEKARD 2i! I have one, and it's been nothing but trouble. I have to take out the card every time I turn on the system, and re-seat it multiple times. I'm lucky to get it working at all. On several occasions, I even got a boot error on my DSi! No, not the card, the actual DSi system, and it ttok ages for the thing to get back to normal. Oh, and games freeze up all the time, so you'll always have to restarting the system, re-seating the card, praying that it works, and repeating. It's awful. I seriously recommend getting a DS flashcard, but not the AK2i. You'll thank me later.

Sounds like maybe you have a bad/knockoff card. I had this happen to me with plenty of clone cards...even a bad genuine Supercard One.

Also, what firmware are you running on it?

Didn't you have trouble with your DSi's cartridge slot anyway? Chances are the contacts are worn/corroded. Give them a clean. If it's not that then chances are you've got a broken Acekard 2i or a cheap knockoff...

No, all cards except the AK2i work with any of my DS systems. I got one of the earliest models, and I bought it new from Modchipcentral.com, which I have heard is a pretty well-known modchip/flashcard site, so the chances are lower that it's a knockoff. It's probably just busted.

I am curious of a good one for the XL. If I can get one that runs the PDA software I will finally retire my Zodiac.
