Don't get a R4, they are outdated and require patching, etc to play games made from a few years forward.

The Acekard 2 is meant to be a decent card and have a Dsi version of it (Acekard 2i), I would wait for someone else to recommend what to buy, but I can tell you what not to buy, and that is a R4.

I have a R4, had to patch GTA CTW, Chrono Trigger, Pokemon Silver, the list goes on and on.

Ha, I have the G6 Lite (an old slot 2 card) and I didn't have to patch GTA CTW or Chrono. Didn't try Pokémon Silver.... I'm scared of that series. ;)

Just get the acekard 2i it's pretty much the only card that is getting regular updates for compatibility with the latest games. I would just avoid the R4 series altogether, they haven't made the cards for about 3 or 4 years now, every single R4 you see is a cheap chinese knock-off, you're running the risk of burning your DS out by using it. If you really want to go cheap then just get a DSTTi it's compatible with thousands of games and it's only started having issues with the very latest games.

I really can't recommend the acekard 2i more though, it's well known as being the best single slot solution for DS and DSi. Just check the reviews on GBATemp.net.

I second that, I love my Acekard 2i, much more user friendly interface than the R4. I ended up getting my niece and nephew R4i's and they are okay, just barebones, and goes with Apple's saying of 'It just works'.

I still highly recommend the Acekard 2i, and if you are looking for a local USA seller, I would strongly support realhotstuff.com. Pretty much two-day shipping within the USA, as compared to 2-week shipping from China.

As for Gameboy advance SP, look for an Ezflash IV (4) that uses a miniSD, that is your best bet. I'm currently using that with a Gameboy micro, and it works great.

I have an AceKard which I do like. I also have the M3 DS Real & CycloDS. I prefer the latter two due to the "real time save" feature.

It's a DS flashcart... How could it possibly work with a Gameboy SP?
