This game makes my comp fan go crazy and get loud as all hell and it does not stop even after I exit the game, I have to reboot my computer.

I have a nvidia geforce GTS 240. This is the only game that has given me a problem so far. Yeah it's a noisy card, just like all nVidia cards. STALKER isn't very well optimised for nVidia cards, it favours ATi cards so that could be why you haven't noticed it until this game.

Have you updated your Nvidia drivers recently Octo? There were some issues with several drivers there for a while.

Drivers are up to date now. I think it helped with STALKER, Imagine that.

You know what's really great? Call of Pripyat keeps up the tradition of having an NPC who keeps saying a really annoying phrase. In this case, it's one of the traders.
