Honestly, I kinda wanted to experience the vanilla goofiness that everyone else did. Y'know, like "GET OUT OF HERE, STALKER!" and such.

I need to get back to it as I haven't touched it in a few months. Though Borderlands is probably going to keep that from happening, especially once we re some multiplayer going.

I installed Stalker Complete and have gotten a lot further with a much more enjoyable experience that I was having with vanilla. I think they might have left that guy in the bar alone as he still talks too much.

Getting Oblivion Lost to work has been a nightmare for me. Bleh. I suck at messing with these things. Why couldn't it be simple, like when I install Half-Life mods on Steam, baaaaawwwww

It is? It's just an installer... Then you run the oblivion lost shortcut... I never had any issues with it, just install and run.

I might be thinking of something else... It's been a while since I did it, just checked it was the Stalker Complete that I used! LOL! That has a simple .exe installer.

Don't you have a ReadMe? I remember having a ReadMe for OL.

God damn, I got so tired of "Get out of here, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.!" I shot the fucker right in the head with a pistol. Had the kill everyone else in Duty, as well. :x

Well, I mean, I read the instructions and all, did this, did that, and finally, after getting a bunch of black screens, I figured it doesn't matter anymore, I'll just play it vanilla and make back up saves so I won't have to worry anymore. All I know is, I hated PC games for a tiny bit after messing around with OL. I'll stick to Half-Life mods.

Just install Stalker Complete that Niode and I both linked. Simple install and makes the game better and prettier without changing it drastically like Oblivion.
