Hello all. I've been very busy this past month and am finally able to come back to this project. So far I've relocated the game cart slot and not really done much else. However, since you all last heard from me, I've recieved my psone screen, TI voltage regulator, 3600mah 7.5v li-ion battery, 3rd party controller, and 2mm Styrene sheets in the mail. Also, I finished building a vacuum forming table today out of some ikea POS thats been in my garage for a long time. For the case, I am thinking about laying it out vertically like a huge gameboy (the original, although something like a GBA SP would be awesome.) I know you guys would love to see some pics. Unfortunately I can't find my card reader right now, so I'll post some pics of the n64 mobo and vacuum forming table later this week when I can find my card reader or otherwise buy a new one. Also, any comments or suggestions on the gameboy-type layout would be appreciated.

If you are making a portable portrait, be aware about the system being top heavy, which would mean the portable will tilt back or forward and also be heavier on your hands to use. If you want to make it portrait, probably good to aim for about 60% of the weight at the bottom and 40% at the top, for example.
