Ok, I have no idea what he's talking about being on a fixed 2d - the guys are clearly sidestepping and the background rotates in the video... so don't listen to me!

Now he says its junk and is trading it in. I guess he had only played a few minutes and was caught up in the character design (which is pretty cool) at first, but discovered many problems and got bored with it quick. Kids these days.

I have a feeling some copies will turn up in a $10 bin at some point - Ill probably scoop it then for novelty/collectability

My only guess is that SNKP think that this style of game would be more popular/profitable than trying something else out. A shame really. Perhaps they should look at the success of Street Fighter IV, and how "oldschool" fighting game mechanics are still popular.
