Help me name this game?
It's a bomberman game for the original Game Boy, but it's a side-scrolling platformer rather than the usual bomberman. Any ideas?

Re: Help me name this game?
This game was actually released in two formats; similar to the situation with Wario Land 2.Its on one of the black cartridge so it'll work on the original Gameboy.
In both case, the game was first released as a Super Game Boy enhanced game, and then later re-released as a
Game Boy Color (black backwards compatible) cartridge.
The later, for both re-releases, I believe are two of the few Game Boy Color games that also included Super Game Boy enhanced, as well as the increased color palette possible when played with the Game Boy Color.
imho, Pocket Bomberman is a horrendous game, expecially when compared to other bomberman games in the series.
It was bad enough that I believe that while it was released in the U.S., as well as Europe, to my knowledge,
neither version was released in Japan.
On the other hand, Wario Land 2 is a good game; but I never found it as enjoyable as Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land.
As you might imagine, since both games were released during the end of the Super Game Boy 'era',
and then re-released at the start of the introduction of the Game Boy Color;
both SGB enhanced grey cartridges, are rarer then there 'black brethren'.
I happen to own both versions of Wario Land 2, for the sake of collecting.
However, I do not yet own either version of Pocket Bomberman.
While this probably qualifies as 'too much information',
hopefully at least some one learned something

I liked that game actually. I had it for gameboy color. The sidescrollingness added a twist on bomberman.
I also liked bomberman hero which I still think translated the 2D platform game into 3D better than anything else during the time period, when everyone was trying to make big open world collectathons like banjo kazooie.
