Portal (PS3 Orange Box)
Braid (PSN DL)
Half Life 2 (PS3 Orange Box)
Super Mario World (Snes) *New for this year, but I beat all levels every year.
Super Ghouls and Ghosts (Snes) *New for this year, again something I beat every year. Played through twice to get the bracelet and good ending.
Ghouls and Ghosts (Genesis) *New, never played before. Loved it. Played through twice to get the angels blessing in order to beat Loki. These games are hardcore.

I guess I have to get the one for PSP now as I've never played it. I'll be sure to beat the one for NES this year again soon too. It's always on my list of games to beat every year.

*NEW*Feel the Magic XY/XX (DS) - Just a bunch of minigames but fun non the less.

*NEW*Within a Deep Forest (PC Download) - Indie title thats short but has some tricky platforming.

*NEW*Knytt (PC Download) - Relaxing indie title that is about exploration over combat. By the same person as the above game.

*NEW*Knytt Stories (PC Download) - Sequel to Knytt. Allows for user created content. Had DS homebrew version as well.

*NEW*Half-Life (PC) - It wasn't as great as I was lead to believe. Mostly do to some, IMO, bad level design and combat encounters. I hope the next one is better.

Also, I was really happy to unlock the pickelhaube avatar item from Toy Soldiers. Check out that beauty on my avatar below!

*Edit: For my own purposes, I decided to go back through the "What is the last game you finished?" thread and see what I beat at the end of 09. I wanted to add it here so I can have a log of what I've beat since joining Racketboy. :)

I just started playing this on PSN this week since it was on sale last week for $5. Fun, but I (stupidly) died in the fourth or fifth stage in both runs so far. How long is it? I find that it wants you to be aggressive early on, but I am thinking I need to tone it back and play more dodge-em starting around the 4th level..

This.

It definitely helps to play more defensively later on, especially during the boss fights. It becomes more of a bullet hell type game in some parts, and since you spend most of the game being aggressive it is a bit hard to transition.

IIRC, there were five levels. Definitely a short game, but the achievement whore in me wants to beat it with the other two planes, so that could help with the replay value. I also want to see if I can get 2,000,000 points by the end of the game. I think I finished with about 1,400,000 points this time.

Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast GC
Tomena Sanner WiiWare
Sonic Jam Saturn

Pokemon Platinum DS *new*
Pokemon Rumble WiiWare *new*

Been in a bit of a pokemon kick lately, I'm also progressing nicely through Heartgold, which came out here in the UK about a week ago.

Pokemon Platinum is a fun enough game, although i do feel that the 4th generation of Pokemon is by far the weakest. Heartgold is changing that though, it may just be the best pokemon game thus far.

Pokemon Rumble is good fun too, but probably overpriced at 1500 points. Its a simple button masher, and its perhaps a bit too easy, but for some reason it didnt bother me.
