Well, in short, it's a huge disappointment. Awful acting, the 3D is an absolute eyesore, pacing is off, and it just blows. I thought it would have been such a fun, thrilling movie.
too bad. I'm a big fan of the original. I'll still this one anyway. But too bad to hear.

RIP Jaime Escalante, the legendary math teacher who was vividly portrayed in the 80s movie Stand and Deliver by Edward James Olmos. I will conclude my 80s month with this one.

Ed Wood- Not the truest adaptation of the director but damn is it uplifting.

The Princess And The Frog: I really enjoyed this one. The shadow man was a great character. I just wish his motives were a bit more defined. He wants to control New Orleans and give his masks souls, but it seems like the man himself just wants money. They should have developed him more before his death/dragged into "the otherside."

I just watched an independent movie called Hero Tomorrow. The filmmaker sent me a copy to review, and I enjoyed it. It was odd leaving you with a WTF? feeling but in a good way.

It seems I'm mistaken.. Not all geeks are into math :|
MentalMan wrote:Yup, PSP and Xbox version! Sure is a outstanding game, rockstar did a good job on the conversion. And actually succeeded in bringing a Movie plot perfectly into a Game, while expanding on it with the ingame prequel premise.

There was this "other" recent The Warrior's game. And ironicly, it's a complete mess. The typical Movie to Game-Game. I hope there wont be any more money sucking on the franchise, or it will be ruined ;_;
Never heard of this other game.. Curious Image

Kelly's Heroes. Donald Sutherland is simply precious in this 70s classic!

I'm very much into math. I guess I'm just not into high school education and inspirational films about teachers making a difference.

Lightning Bugs, which is inspired by the life of Robert Hall, the special effects master who worked on Buffy (among others), and would later direct and do the special effects for Laid to Rest.
