More than being gay, he is a publicity whore. You know your washed up when you have to inform the media of your sexual orientation just to get your name buzzed up for a few days.
Typing this post is the most thought i've ever given to Ricky Martin. I'm sure it took alot of talent and hard work to get where he has, too bad thats not why people are talking him now, but rather that he likes to bone dudes.
Not that theres anything wrong with that.

I personally think that if he had came out years ago, it wouldn't have negatively affected his career. Maybe even the opposite.
This kind of goes in hand with Izzy's post; people afraid to come out in fear of a negative backlash just ends up hurting themselves. I kind of think that habitual liars hurt others, but end up hurting themselves the most.

If there's one thing, its you gotta be true to yourself, that's important.
I'm a straight guy, and I love the music by Elton John, such as Rocket Man, Something about the way you look tonight..., and yup I did dance to Livin La Vida Loca back in high school with the girls.
But I can't shake off the feeling that Ricky is like Clay Aiken, coming out when its like the twilight of their careers with nothing to go forward on. Still I give him the credit for coming out.
