Ricky Martin Comes Out Of The Closet

Ok, so before anyone freaks out about the subject matter...

I'd just like to say I'm somewhat interested in this topic only because for many years people all over the world were saying that "Ricky Martin was gay".. but because I'm a straight man with absolutely no sort of "gaydar" whatsoever.. I myself always wondered what made people so sure that he was gay? What was it about him that screamed "homosexual?" Because I just don't see it. He looked like he could have been straight to me? And he's had kids

I never saw him and thought he was gay either. Maybe he didn't really know for sure himself until recently. Or at least come to terms with it.

Regardless, the general public tends to gossip viciously about famous people and their personal lives. It's gotta suck to be them sometimes.

That's precisely my point - how could you tell? Because when I looked at the dude all I saw was another Latin celebrity who sings and wears "fancy clothes" because he's a celebrity.

Is Enrique Iglesias gay then, too? Because I don't see any difference between the two of them??

They couldn't. Unless they saw him having gay sex there's no way of telling and in that case he could very well be experimenting or bisexual.

In the end, if you think everyone is gay at some point you are going to be right.

I don't know how I could tell. Maybe I have built-in gaydar because I am from San Francisco (/sarcasm). Enrique doesn't have that gay vibe.

I think you better change up the ethnicities of these examples or someone might get upset.

Beat me to it. It doesn't matter at all if these celebrities are straight, gay or bi. There is nothing wrong about being gay. Sadly, I think most people still think being gay is bad but that's because they are ignorant morons.

People cannot choose their sexual orientation. It's like gender, age, race, height, etc. It's not their choice and it's not fair to judge them negatively on it.

The only reason that some people think being gay is bad is because they were told to think that way. If this is you, all you need to do is think, and try to come up with an actual reason why being gay is bad. After you realize there isn't one, you will understand the truth.

There are plenty of people who appear to be perfectly straight but are actually gay. And there are plenty of gay people who have kids too. It could be because they wanted kids, or they wanted to hide the fact that they are gay, or they are really bisexual, or they themselves didn't realize they are gay until after they had kids.
