Today I received an awesome call from my buddy while I was at work. He was very mysterious at first saying only "after you get off work come by my house, I have something for you". The suspense was killing me as it wasn't my birthday or anything of the sort. I kept asking what it was and finally he told me... Now I was aware that his brother used to buy a lot of gaming stuff back in the 90's, the majority of it being japanese stuff, and most of it was packed away in his garage. Since it had gone unused for years and his brother had moved to Japan, I always asked him if I could go in there and see what he had/maybe buy some of the stuff from him. But he always shrugged me off saying he doesn't know if his brother still wanted it or not. Well this week his brother came home for a visit and cleaned out the garage. He basically lumped all his old gaming stuff into a few boxes and put them out for trash. You might be able to guess what came next :D. My buddy noticed all this stuff and immediately called me and told me it was all mine if I still wanted it. Of course I took it all :D
There is actually another box I still have to grab which I don't fully know what is inside.
But so far i've managed to get all this for free
Sega Master System + a few games
Sega Mark 3000 + 5 games
Nintendo + 10 games
Commodore 64 + Disk Drive + 100 games
A buttload of controllers/manuals/walkthroughs

In the box that I have to go still pickup is a PC-Engine and an Atari 2600 + games.
Easily one of the best surprises i've ever had gaming related :D
Nintendoes what Nintendon't!

Winds, you lucky lucky bastard.

Way to stay persistent though, it's pretty much what I've got going with a few other finds myself to hopefully break the ice on some stuff I've wanted.

It was a bit over $62, with shipping and all that.

Got it in the mail just earlier today. Haven't opened the game yet, but I have looked through the art book. It's pretty mediocre, though. Total waste of money.

It's actually a pretty awesome art book. Not very thick, but it's still nice to thumb through. Very nice and colorful images, and it's a lot better than the artbook that came with BlazBlue.

Went to one of the Japanese Gaming Mega Stores today and got a few items for about $17 total.

Saturn 3-D Controller, Astal, Saturn Bomberman, and Street Fighter Collection. Everything is complete but the manuals and cases for Astal and Bomberman are slightly damaged but its not too big of a deal.

I was also able to find this strange controller (but I didn't buy it). Anyone got any info on it?

I believe that's the rare "Dual Analog" controller. :?:

Somebody had made a post here on the forums about the "Dual Analog" not too long ago.

Could be it. Not sure
