Capcom VS SNK 3!

I always loved April Fool's Jokes. I used to never read GamePro except to see their April "LamePro" edition, and I always loved seeing what silliness EGM would come up with.

Now, GamePro stopped doing "LamePro" versions and EGM is gone. It makes me a sad panda.

SvC chaos sucked and you know it

SvC:Chaos was still pretty fun, in my opinion. At the very least, it dwarfed CvS2 in character variety (Demitri, Zero, Mars People, Red Arremer, etc.)
Plus, the best title in the SvC/CvS series was an SvC game. SNK vs Capcom: Match of the Millenium. I'd love to see that game re-made for modern consoles - it was far more fun than the rest of its brethren.


And hey, just remember guys - the whole reason Akuma was created was because EGM ran an April Fools Joke about fighting Sheng Long in SF2. Ya gotta believe!

I gotta tell ya - I'm pretty pleased with what has been shown so far of CvS3.

Gotta love the graphic design nightmare that is the HUD. Surprised they'd use such low resolution power meters and reuse portraits from previous games while still making new sprites. Also strange how they decided to go with a 4:3 aspect ratio.

Well, Capcom only commissioned SNK to make the gameplay sprites. They forgot to get them to do anything else, and you know how much Capcom hates to do anything 2D these days.

Man, the fighting games just keep rolling out! April seems to be a good month for fighting games.

Civilization V: Extreme Diplomacy will be getting a Deluxe edition as well, with an 8-button fight stick. I think I'll pre-order today.
