Is it it that bad? I played the demo and didn't mind it. I was going to pick it up.

Yeah, I'm thinking about both Finalizer and Battlantis. Hardcore Gaming 101 described Battlantis as a Space Invaders-inspired shooter, even though it was released nearly a decade after SI. It seemed pretty OK to me. Checking out the high score vid of Finalizer made it look actually pretty cool for its time. There are no stages, and it seems pretty long and doesn't heavily rely on repetitive patterns.

I can't tell if I want to buy these just because there's no new games coming out or because I actually like them.

Either way, three bucks isn't much of a waste. When I go out, I spend three dollars on a beer without hesitation and I literally piss that away, so...

Microsoft won. I could wait no longer for newer, better games. I was tired of sitting in an empty arcade listening to BGM. I bought Lunar Lander, Scramble, Super Cobra, and Finalizer. Considering one more - either Gravitar, Shao-lin's Road, or Tutenkam. Despite not being anything I really wanted, five games for fifteen bucks is a steal.

Have we been told why the Konami cabs are piss-poor cut-and-paste jobs? Did I mention they suck? I love the Gravitar cab. It's calling me...

I've "visited" your arcade a couple of times, thinking surely you would be into some score challenges. If you're looking for one more, get Shao-lin's. It's the one most people on forums are talking about. It has rad kung-fu action, yo.

Yeah, Shao-Lin's Road is pretty damn great imo. It is like a cross between a single area platformer like Mario Bros and a beat 'em up. I'll probably pick up Battlantis and maybe one more.

So what Konami games would you guys like to see next?

My short list...

Gradius
TwinBee
Jackal
Dark Adventure
Haunted Castle

And if they will break into the 90's

Sunset Riders

I am really hoping some of these games they are releasing will support multiplayer.

I'm picking up battlantis and Finalizer shortly. Then I might grab 4 more. Maybe tempest. I'll wait for the next batch after I pick up those. (yea right)

I've been very happy with shaolin. It's simple and entertaining.

Asteroids has been a blast. I was only 200 points away from breaking the top 20 rankings as of a few days ago.... I doubt I'll have much more time to try and get on that once everyone starts playing. Playing this game makes me miss my cab of the original asteroids.

Why are the servers always down? Every time I go to try to participate in the challenges I get a server down message as soon as I log into Game Room. Whats worse is sometimes it does not give me that message, I play a challenge game and then afterward it says it cannot be submitted while the servers are down. Freakin' ARGH!

Basically, Battlantis is kinda balls-hard for me. It's not an awful game but at the same time, as I die over and over again, I start wondering if buying it was that great an idea.

And now I'm considering buying Jungler because I just figured out how to play it (I don't NEED no instructions to know how to rock!) and for all of Giant Bomb's jokes about it...gonna lose so much money to this thing....

And yes, Sunset Riders needs to be on here so bad. Not Haunted Castle though. That 3 continues thing is bull-crap.
