Nights into dreams controller
Ok so i just recently got a sega saturn on ebay and i wanted to get nights into dreams. Most of the auctions have a 3d controller with them and are up to around $50-$60, but the ones with just the game are under 10. I was wondering if its needed to play it, or if i can just use the ones that came with the system? Thanks!

I have to warn you, the game is a lot more comfortable using the normal pad as, if you know how the game works, you would know that the game is played on a 2D plane and you guide Nights by pressing in the right directions. Sometimes you need precise movements and the D pad won't cut it. For example, one of the main movements in the game is the paraloop, and that requires you to "Roll" the D pad/A pad in a full 180'.
In short, yes, you can play the game using the normal controllers. But you can't play it as smoothly and as effectivly without the analog stick. Like using a controller instead of a mat to play Dance Dance Revolution.
However, if you just don't have the money, don't let this keep you from getting the game, because even with the D pad it beats the pants off SM64. (Yes I'm a little biased...)
