Sin and Punishment: Star Successor

Post by env963 »

This game looks VERY appealing to me. I thinking of preordering it. I just downloaded the VC version of the import Sin and Punishment. The controls are a bit tricky with the gamecube controller. I can see myself enjoying the game, if i can get the controls down. Star Successor just impresses me to no end, especially with Wii controls.

I imported this right away assuming it wasn't coming stateside. It is worth every penny. It is about twice as long and the action doesn't stop for a second. This year is a great year for the Wii

I played through the Japanese copy twice, part two is better in every way than the first one. I sold the import and am waiting for the stateside release. Sadly, I doubt it will sell too well.

Use control scheme two/b/whatever the heck the second control scheme is called and the game becomes infinitely better.

That having been said I freaking love Sin & Punishment. The cart is always back in my N64 after I've finished playing another game and I usually play it all the way through every few days to keep my skills with it sharp. Personally I pre-ordered the sequel the second it came up on GS's pre-order the other day too, all indicators point to this being a low print run thanks to the way it sold in Japan (Though I wouldn't be surprised if it sold like crazy given the popularity of the original on the VC here in the US.) and I am NOT missing out on it.

I don't know as of yet, it's coming out (Pulls out well worn yet much loved Wii '10 pre-order list......) June 7th so there's plenty of time for Ninty or GameStop to announce any bonuses, soundtracks or demos. Plus, besides the placeholder box art and latest trailer were released there hasn't been a peep from Nintendo or GS other than the release date's announcement

I bet it doesn't sell well at all. The shmup (on rail especially) don't sell well in the U.S. Maybe I should preorder it... hmmmmm
